An economical primer, it combines universal application, fast-drying, and convenient paint thinner cleanup. It is ideal for new construction and remodelling work, as well as for repainting. Cover Stain is also available as an aerosol for spot work and priming small objects.
Developed in 1985, Cover Stain is the only interior/exterior primer, sealer, stain sealer and bond coat that dries for recoat in only one hour. Professional painters use Cover Stain for it wonderful application properties and versatility of use. It is often the only primer they use in their day to day work.
Cover Stain is specially designed to meet the high performance demands and universal applications professional painters require. Pros need a primer that performs reliably on any surface, interior or exterior, and at a price that permits volume purchasing.
On interior surfaces, Cover Stain dries quickly and has great hiding power providing outstanding stain killing and enamel undercoating performance. Stains of all kinds are permanently sealed so topcoats are blemish free.
Cover Stain is especially effective on nicotine and water stains. New wood trim can be primed, sanded and top coated the same day, saving the professional time and money.
On exterior surfaces, Cover Stain has an unique whole house formulation that delivers full penetration and flexibility on all surfaces, especially dimensionally unstable wood siding and trim, where few oil-based primers can succeed.
Cover Stain seals redwood and cedar bleed, resists cracking, checking and peeling and is compatible with all finish paints.
